Mark O'Connor's An Appalachian Christmas Fairfax Concert reviews
Coheed was amazing.
The concert environment was not good. Claudio from Coheed and Cambria played a guitar solo behind his head, threw it up into the air, stomped on it on the ground, then picked it up and kept playing the end of his guitar, before licking it, leaving it on his amp, flicking his pick into the crowd and leaving the stage. The crowd didn't even respond with an amazed standing ovation as deserved, because it wasn't a song they'd heard on Mark O'Connor's An Appalachian Christmas. Greek Fire was the only band I hadn't heard of that impressed me. Story of the Year is always amazing live. Coheed and Cambria were also good. The fans at the show weren't even fans of rock and roll. Almost all of the bands sounded like Shinedown, and were lame or mediocre at best. Point listeners don't like Rock and Roll.
